Visually, the classic rich golden tones hint to the richness yet to come on the nose and palate. The nose displays notes of spiced baked apple and tropical fruits that lead to a palate carrying forward the aromatics of the nose with an added note of white fig braced by bold acidity, firm structure and a rich mouthfeel. The lush finish is round and exhibits both length and layers of complexity.
ELEGANTLY STYLED TO MAKE THESE WINES “THE PICK OF THE VINEYARD”
Silver Peak captures the pioneering spirit of California with these North Coast appellation releases. Like the fabled prospectors of years past, our winemakers seek hidden treasures among the finest growing regions. In California’s North Coast, we searched the hills and valleys for vineyards that provided the fruit for these exceptional selections.
Silver Peak’s elegant style and strong varietal character reflects the long-standing reputation of the quality fruit sourced from some of the North Coast’s finest vineyards. Great taste starts in the vineyard and is coaxed into the glass under the watchful eyes of Silver Peak’s winemaking team.

FAMILY RELEASES – FROM OUR DINNER TABLE TO YOURS.
This was the first Napa Valley release by Scotto Cellars. The N.A.P.A. portion of the wine’s name represents the 5th generation of Scotto Vintners: my brothers and sisters Natalie, Anthony, Paul (me) and Anne. Michael’s Red is named for our youngest brother, and Bianca’s White is named for our youngest sister, who has recently joined us on our wine adventure. (Paul Scotto)
2016 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
The color represents a lively translucent quality with a deep ruby hue complemented by hints of garnet. The nose is redolent with notes of currants and black cherry with a touch of pepper, earth and subtle spice leading to the palate that is more reminiscent of elegance than brawn and framed by a sense of intricate balance and structure. Suggestions of black berries and currants from the nose couple with minerality and firm tannins round out a palate impression that will gain added depth with a little time in the glass. A long, layered and polished finish carries forward the elegance and complexity of the palate as a classic expression of this most regal grape.
